Not two weeks ago it would have been unthinkable for Ben to share his green ball at the playground. Now he's using it as a pick up technique with cute girls.

The Best Part of the Best Part of the Week

We started a new music session today, and Ben has gotten even more intense about his participation and his love for Miss Amy. He stands right in front of her and sings as loudly as he can and imitates every movement she makes. His favorite part of the class may be the point where he snags what he sees as the best drum and plays it far away from everyone else so no one can steal it--which is what he's doing in this picture.

Ben started Music Together exactly two years ago, before he could crawl or talk. Now he is all over the place. . . And today Josie started for the first time, at the same age Ben was. Since this class has long been special Mom and Ben time, he tolerated the interloper awfully well. Well, I mean who can have eyes for anything other than Miss Amy?
